Rebecca Lindsey to represent UHaul and perform at the Eternal Light Monument New York City

This prestigious ceremony takes place in front of the Eternal Light Monument in Madison Square Park (5th Avenue between 23rd and 25th Streets), immediately before the parade.
The ceremony consists of:
» speeches by the Mayor, our Senators, military and other state and civic leaders.
» laying of memorial wreaths at Eternal Light Monument
» military salute by ceremonial honor guard
Mayor Bloomberg as well as several other Dignitaries will be speaking at the opening ceremony. Rebecca will be performing “On the Fourth of July” during the opening ceremony. Afterward Rebecca will perform various songs from her debut album on a float during the Veteran’s Day Parade.
This ceremony is the most formal of New York City’s Veterans Day events, and receives heavy media coverage each year and has been organized in New York since 1929. Over 750,000 spectators and over 20,000 people participate in the Veteran’s Day Parade each year. It is immediately followed by the Nations Parade and the Veterans Day Fair at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.
