COUNTRY MUSIC STAR REBECCA LINDSEY TO PERFORM AT CHARLIE-PALOOZA TO HELP RAISE MONEY FOR HUDSON HOME

Tampa, FL (November 19, 2007) – Recording artist Rebecca Lindsey will perform at the  Annual Charlie Daniel’s “Charlie- Palooza” Banquet November 29 & 30, 2007, at the Tampa Hard Rock Café and on December 1, 2007 at the Ford Amphitheatre.  All proceeds raised during this event will benefit The Angelus Home in Hudson , FL.

The three-day event will feature Charlie Daniels and Rebecca Lindsey along with celebrities from the music and entertainment industries such as Chris Cagle and Trace Adkins who will also perform.

“I am very honored to be a part of this event,” said Rebecca.  “It is my hope to be able to help and inspire others to aid The Angelus who have given so much to many.  It is because of the good people that started this home that so many have found their home.  My prayer is to be able to aid The Angelus Foundation in anyway possible.”

The Angelus is a 501 (c) (3), not-for-profit organization committed to providing life, hope and faith for those living with disabilities as well as funding programs helping the disabled. Rebecca agreed to perform to help raise funds for The Angelus because she wanted to help this organization that has selflessly given to others within her former community.  More information about The Angelus is available at: http://theangelus.com/wb/.

The five goals of the annual Charlie-Palooza Concert are:

To help provide hope for those living with disabilities

To educate those living with disabilities about drug therapies and treatments

To encourage individuals living with disabilities to seek appropriate treatment

To fund research seeking a cure for those living with disabilities

To fund programs providing assistance to people living with disabilities

About The Angelus

I just love the jeans Wrangler recently sent me to wear and I would like to thank Wrangler for their support.

Wrangler has always been very supportive of the Country Music industry and especially its Artists. I am very honored to be included in that support amongst many other fellow prestigious Country Music Artists.

Wrangler jeans have always been one of my favorites not just because they are comfortable and affordable, but also for their unwavering sense of fashion.

‘Maverick Country Magazine’ has had some of the top Country performers grace the front cover of their magazine. Rebecca’s whole album “Headlights on the Highway” received a very powerful and positive review stating that:

Ms. Lindsey “has had voice training from the age of ten, so when it comes to deliveries one can find little to carp about.” “In listening to her deliveries of” her songs “it is apparent that she sings from personal experience and is certainly not simply going through the motions.” “It should not be assumed that these songs are merely dark tirades against the abusers involved in cases of domestic violence; far from it. They are very literate songs, which deal openly and honestly with the subject without being ‘preachy’.”

August 21, 2007 Rebecca interviews with WAGS Radio Station in Bishopville, SC after being in their top 10 spot with her song “Everything But Lying”.

“Everything But Lying” was written and produced by Charlie Craig, a noted songwriter whose work has been recorded by the likes of Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Travis Tritt and George Strait. Craig will probably be best remembered for having co-written “Wanted” with Alan Jackson as well as being nominated for ‘Song of the Year’ for Reba McEntire’s hit, “She’s Single Again”.

“It is a true honor to be a part of a playlist that is so diverse and in-touch with today’s Country music. With each step and success I have I owe it all to you, those who support me, because I only represent you and your best wishes. It is those wishes that provide the energy to carry me on. Whatever success or further step I take, it is because of you. The spotlight that shines on me, shines on you. My applause is also yours. I only achieve the success that your support sends to me and for that, I cannot thank you enough. You turn my dreams into our reality for all of us.”

All My Love,
Rebecca

Deborah Williams, the St. Petersburg, FL CASA Domestic Abuse Shelter Director of Development, wrote about Rebecca Lindsey and the luncheon’s sponsor, Mary Shuh:
“Wow, what a dynamic duo. Thank you for the wonderful job you did to help raise money for our domestic abuse shelter. More than $70,000 was raised for CASA as a result of your efforts at the Good Night Sleep Lunch.”
It is great to be able to thank anyone that has sponsored shelters and survivors of domestic violence. I know it can seem frustrating as a sponsor when you do not see the results of your time and money - but if you save one life, you save the world. A sponsor’s time and kindness is never for nothing. If you are related to someone or friends with someone you are almost obligated to have to help them. The people that help the most in these cases generally are strangers - yet they care and help anyway. God bless you the volunteers for your efforts; it really makes all the difference in the world.”
All my love,

Rebecca

Rebecca spoke with individuals like Mayor Rick Baker of St. Petersburg, FL in attendance showing their support to help end domestic violence. Please, help support your local shelter(s) by calling 1 (800) 799-SAFE (7233) to find a shelter in your area. Any funds you donate can be a tax write-off as well. The gift of your time as a Volunteer is one of the most precious gifts you could ever give someone. Thank you for your support and God bless.

I would like to thank Fashion Bug for supporting me as an Artist with wardrobe for the month of March.

Fashion Bug is one of my favorite clothing stores not just for their fashionable and affordable clothesline but also because they support many charities as I do. Whether you’re a size 0 or a size 20+, how a woman views her body plays a large role in many aspects of her life.

Fashion Bug supports women having a healthy body image as well as many charities such as “Keeping Kids Warm” and “Voices“.

More than 70% of all purchase decisions are made in the store.  Being able to have a song exposed to the public through stores such as ACME, Giant Carlisle, Walgreens, Tops, Kroger, Safeway, Albertson’s, SuperValu, Winn Dixie and Meijer is a major accomplishment.  IBN presently represents 48 major store lines and the music they play to its customers.  When you’re out and about, please be sure to listen for Rebecca’s “On the Fourth of July” to start being played early February 2007 at a store near you!
